Bata launches campaign for shoe-lovers

Digital agency Section has tied up with Bata to launch an integrated digital campaign titled 'Have We Met’.Aiming to reconnect with younger consumers, the campaign includes a microsite to extend online dedicated engagement and reach. Bata’s targeted social media marketing also includes a short film that enacts the reunion of two long lost friends through a pair of shoes.[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb7FdmfbIMs[/embed]Further, Section developed a digital platform for users to share a personal message to a friend and select a pair of their preferred Bata shoe.According to Section’s business director, Nelson Lee, ‘Have We Met’ allowed the team to build a strong campaign around the theme of nostalgia. "In line with Bata’s mission to ‘shoe mankind’, we are glad for the opportunity to reacquaint consumers with the brand and further this, all through the creation of meaningful digital experiences to help individuals relive memories and reconnect with one another," he added.
