Hong Kong joins two other global pilot schemes, including San Francisco and Miami, to become the first city in Asia to launch Audi at home, a mobility service that enables Audi rentals on a per-hour or daily basis. In partnership with Kerry Property’s Dragons Range, the service gives residents of the property access to a range of Audi vehicles – from the eco-friendly plug-in hybrid model to a seven-seater SUV and a compact open-top sports car.The vehicles, available within the residential building, will be accompanied by a key handover via a concierge and can be secured through a booking via a smartphone.“Audi at home embodies our premium approach and our love for discover,” said René Koneberg, managing director of Audi Hong Kong and Macau.“Hong Kong’s mobility rates are reaching staggering levels. This, coupled with changing consumer behaviour, is impacting the mobility industry and service mentality considerably.“To respond to these changes, Audi Hong Kong is expanding Audi at home to the city to challenge traditional concepts of vehicle ownership and usage. This programme will allow Hong Kong residents to travel where they want and when they want in style.”Chu Ip-pui, executive director of Kerry Properties Hong Kong, said: “We know that many Dragons Range residents-to-be appreciate the opportunity for a quick escape to the lush greenery nearby. We believe this personalised service suits our residents’ needs.”
