AsiaMalls appoints home-grown agencies

DSTNCT and Duo Studio have been selected by AsiaMalls as its new social media agencies of record. The youth-led creative startups will jointly manage social media marketing efforts across all 6 AsiaMalls’ platforms with effect from January 2016.

The pitch was held last year in December 2015. This is the first time the client is appointing an AOR for all six malls.

“We were impressed by both teams’ strong capabilities in strategic planning, creative design and thinking, and media optimisation,” Stephanie Ho, executive director, AsiaMalls Management said.

“The young startups are relatively new names in the industry, but their innovative approach demonstrates their expertise and knowledge of the social media space.  We are excited to be working with them to energize our brands in Singapore.”

“AsiaMalls has great ambition for growth, and for our young agency to have been chosen as their AOR is an absolute honour. We are very excited to begin our new partnership and will be focused on developing social and integrated mall experiences that will shake up the retail scene,” Stephanie Phua, co-founder of Duo Studio.

Duo Studio and DSTNCT are both home grown local agencies.
