Chris Chiu tipped to exit Leo Burnett Singapore

Chris Chiu, CEO of Leo Burnett Singapore is set to exit the agency, according to sources close to Marketing.Chiu was promoted to the role of CEO in August last year following holding the position of chief creative officer.He led the agency in a dual capacity as CEO as well as in his current role as chief creative officer. The move comes shortly after Lou Dela Pena was announced to take on a group level role at Publicis. In the new role, she is charged to lead both Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi.When asked about Chiu's departure, Dela Pena did not confirm or deny but said: "The primary objective of Publicis Communications is to accelerate cross agency collaboration and to leverage to the fullest extent our expertise in digital, shopper, PR, and production for the direct benefit of our clients.""It gives us a great opportunity to eliminate silos and reinvent our internal structures to ensure that our clients always have access to the best resources and the world-class solutions they deserve."​The rearrangement was part of the network reorganising its structure into four groups, namely Publicis Communications; Publicis Media; Publicis.Sapient and Publicis Healthcare.
