Apostolopoulos moves into key Nat Geo role

National Geographic has named Con Apostolopoulos as general manager and vice president for National Geographic Partners across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.Apostolopoulos, the former VP of partnerships for FOX Networks Group Asia Pacific, will manage the National Geographic Partners business in the region, including publishing, digital, kids, travel and licensing.He will dual reporting line to Rohit D’Silva, executive vice president, commercial for Asia for FNG Asia Pacific and Middle East and Ward Platt, COO for National Geographic Partners.His appointment is part of a number of changes taking place at Nat Geo globally.“Our challenge is to keep growing that number in a manner that reflects the strength and value of our brand,” Platt said.Apostolopoulos will continue to be based in Hong Kong.
