Another senior departure for FIC

Executive vice president for FIC sports division, previously known as ESPN, Adam Zecha, has left the team after a 16 year tenure with the company.An FIC spokesperson confirmed the departure stating that no replacement has yet been made for his role.Zecha's responsibilities included leading the advertising sales and the event management group. When reached by Marketing, Zecha did not respond.This comes amidst major changes at ESPN, now known as FIC, following its takeover by Fox International Channels. Earlier, Manu Sawhney, managing director of ESPN StarSports (ESS) left the company as well.Zecha (pictured) joined ESS in 1996 and was part of the launch team of the ESS joint venture. He was formerly SVP for affiliate and multimedia sales before being promoted to the position of executive vice president, head of sales, SE Asia in 2008.
