AdzCentral beefs senior team

Audience buying firm AdzCentral has added several digital media veterans to its senior team, following its SG$4 million funding.Russell Conrad, Christopher McCarthy, Chip Wilcox, and Rajeev Saxena have been hired to drive business growth and expansion across the region while COO Mohan Mahapatra will transition to an advisory role.Operating out of AdzCentral's Singapore headquarters the new hires will join Ganga Chirravuri, VP of product and engineering, and Reza Behnam, CEO and founder, to as part of AdzCentral's management team.The team will oversee the deployment and execution of the company's Scientific Media Buying platform. The platform brings together audience data, targeting and optimisation to enable real-time media buying through online display, search, social, video and mobile.Conrad joins the team as chief revenue officer, responsible for AdzCentral's sales and client strategy across all markets. He has over 10 years in digital media and well over 20 years' experience in driving revenue and sales joining from Living Social, where he served as regional VP of retail.He has also worked in Effective Media in Southeast Asia and as regional managing director for Admax Network.Wilcox takes on the role of head of business operations, responsible for all of AdzCentral's business operations, from internal operations to external processes.Wilcox was previously with International SOS, as general manager for the Asia Pacific region, leading a team across Singapore, Australia, Japan, Korea and the Philippines. He has also worked with Yahoo in roles such as head of business operations for Yahoo Southeast Asia and acting GM for Yahoo Singapore.Saxena joins as director of sales & client strategy, responsible for driving AdzCentral's revenue through strategic partnerships in Singapore and India. Prior to joining AdzCentral, Saxena was the general manager, SEA, at Exponential.McCarthy joins as VP of product strategy & solutions, responsible for customer solutions and product strategy. He has created various online products and services for more than 20 years for NBC, Warner Music, Deutsche Bank, Carnegie Hall and Cosmopolitan Magazine, and the first e-commerce systems for Nike, Lands' End and Sephora.
