adidas has awarded independent creative network iris Worldwide its social media duties for Southeast Asia.
The move to consolidate the business will see iris manage social media properties and content for Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Singapore.
The is in addition to iris Singapore’s regional scope of adidas creative toolkit creation for these markets.
With the integration of the Facebook pages for the local markets, iris is tasked to ensure consistent communications across the brand’s Facebook and Twitter brand pages through their local market community management and regional governance.
“adidas is a long-standing and highly valued client of iris, with whom we have created some of our most innovative experiential, digital and retail elements for many years. We’re now moving into an exciting new phase, with a branded content platform to cater to the passions of the kids across Southeast Asia,” Craig Mapleston, managing director, iris Singapore, said.
Targeting primarily the 14-19 year-old youths, iris aims to create an evolving calendar of social communication around identified brand content topics and audience passion points across all markets.
