Asia Content Marketing Association, better known as ACMA is restructuring. Most recently, chairman Don Anderson, who is also co-founder of the organisation stepped down and no replacement for the role has been named.Meanwhile, the organisation has named  Andrea Edwards of Novus Asia as executive director for ACMA and has also appointed five additional group heads. Taking on the role of head of publishing,  will be Henry Adams from Contended and Melissa de Villiers of editors group, who will be joint chief editors. The head of education role will be held by Brand New Media's Nick Fawbert and head of Outreach will now be Anderson. Head of Membership will be helmed by Outbrain's Timi Siytango. A new head of research will also soon be named. Executive director Edwards will be the central point of contact for ACMA and all the five roles will report into her.In a statement to Marketing, outgoing chairman Anderson (pictured) said this was a new chapter for ACMA as content marketing matures in Asia.“I have been in this role for nearly two years and for the association to continue to evolve, I believe it is best I step aside and allow another ‘voice’ or ‘champion’ take it from here,” he said. ACMA was founded almost three years ago and is focused on achieving its vision: to build upon the support of our members to raise the profile, positive perception and commercial strength of the content marketing industry in the SEA region."2016 is the year that content marketing moves into the mainstream in Asia. It is also the year many will start to challenge its validity – something that is always the case with ‘new ideas.’ We will be the voice of reason during this time. We will demonstrate successes, best practises, ROI, and more. That is our job as the industry association for content marketing in Asia," said Anderson.
